I have encountered numerous families who could afford the best in assisted living. Instead they chose the less expensive route of adult day care. Why? Because it allowed them to keep someone they love at home with family while not jeopardizing the stability of the lives of others in the households. Add the clinical supports that adult day care can bring and you have s serious winner. Programs need to be equipped to promptly explain this to those shopping for care.
